Allison Cosmos brings us a beautiful representation of Chinoiserie Chic with this work of art. The image of birds on garden branches is printed on canvas with hand-applied gold gilding and an image brush gel finish. The piece is set in a gold floater frame.
  • Image printed on canvas with hand-applied gold gilding and an image brush gel finish.
  • Set in a gold floater frame.
  • Made in the USA.
  • Custom Art is manufactured especially for you, which is why we do not accept cancellations, exchanges, or returns.
Allison finds inspiration for her “Modern Chinoiserie” works in vintage scientific illustration, gardens and endangered/extinct species from all over the world. Her “Urbanscape” abstract works draw upon the heavily textured works from the 1960’s and mimic maps and landscapes.

In 1995 she graduated with a BFA at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL and her hometown is Greensboro, NC.  When not drawing or painting, she can be found volunteering at the local elementary school or remodeling their 1964 ranch home in Garden Grove, CA where she lives with her husband, 2 young girls and chocolate lab Kona.
