Growing up Ann loved painting. As a young adult she went to art school and loved it. Ann received her fine arts training at Laguna College of Art and Design. Ann is currently based in Laguna Beach, California. Her favorite childhood memory related to art was when she would draw and paint with her grandmother. This lead Ann on a path to the world of art. Ann’s favorite medium is watercolor, “I love when the colors flow into each other creating new washes.” Ann uses nature and wildlife to explore themes within her art. The movements that most influenced Ann were Impressionism and Art Nouveau. Ann’s passions include, art, animals, nature and reading on the beach. Ann’s statement as an artist is to show the beauty in animals and nature.
