Dylan Grey was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.

Dylan majored in studio art with an emphasis in photography at Long Beach State College. What I know about art I learned from my professors and family. Also, I looked up to my Dad who is a furniture designer. I had a few jobs working as a gallery preparator which is where I learned how to use a paint brush, roller, and masking tape.

Art means expressing yourself and focusing ones thoughts. I am inspired by the things in my daily life- graffiti-music-buildings-break ups and suburban life. I like to play with bright colors and shapes. I enjoy working with a variety of mediums. Digital, collage, and I like to experiment with different processes.

My favorite medium is paint, but I enjoy mixing mediums. Spray paint, color swatches, tape, glue, coffee, sponge rollers, house paint, experimenting with lightboxes And I also love using the computer to modify my work. I like altering my work digitally. I also like to incorporate photography in my work.
